The National Youth Council of Moldova has announced a photography contest on the occasion of the International Youth Day. The theme this year is “Civic commitment of the youth”. The socially active persons for whom photography is a continuous source of inspiration are invited to take part in the contest. Their task is to show through image their view on youth volunteering, participation and involvement, IPN reports.

All the works that meet the conditions will be displayed at an exhibition that will be mounted on the occasion of the International Youth Day on August 12. The authors must be present at the exhibition from its beginning until the end. The public will choose the best five works by putting stickers (at most five stickers per person) next to the favorite photos. The authors of the best works will be awarded.

The deadline for applications is August 5, 5pm. Each participant must submit applications, accompanied by at most five photos, contact data and description of the works, to the email address cntm.comunicare@gmail.com.
