The State Road Administration said that its service to inform about the conditions on the national roads in winter starts work on November 22. The active phone numbers are: (022)22-55-30, (022)74-89-61; +373 60 477 117, IPN reports.

Sergiu Căpățână, consultant at this service, has told IPN that these phone numbers can be used by traffic participants to inform about road sections with glazed frost, for example. In this case, the person in charge of that road segment at the State Road Administration is notified and antiskid material is placed there.

“Each year during the cold period, the State Road Administration provides this nonstop service so as to monitor the road network that is managed by the Administration and to ensure uninterrupted circulation on these roads. Any traffic participant can use the three phone numbers,” stated Sergiu Căpățână.  

The nonstop information service of the State Road Administration will be available until March 15, 2022.
