The Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has reacted to the accusations made by Vitalie Taulean, saying the lawyer blatantly violated public order inside the PGO, IPN reports.
“The case happened in the morning of October 17, when the lawyer, flagrantly violating public order, forced the barrier without having a permit and entered the PGO, insulting the prosecutor who investigated the alleged illegalities committed by decision makers of the Theoretical Lyceum “Toader Bubuiog”, which is managed by the wife of lawyer Taulean,” says a press release issued by the PGO.
The lawyer is accused of pushing the policeman on guard and of entering the prosecutor’s office, without showing a legal document. The prosecutor called the guard to take him out, but the lawyer refused to leave, causing a rumpus. The PGO informed the Bar Association about the violation of the rules of civility and the professional ethical norms by lawyer Vitalie Taulean.
The press release also says that lawyer Vitalie Taulean is investigated for committing acts of hooliganism inside the PGO.
In a news conference on December 4, the lawyer said that by this criminal case the prosecutors want to take revenge on him because he accused prosecutors of committing illegalities in a number of news conferences earlier. He called on Prosecutor General Corneliu Gurin to examine this case and to dismiss the prosecutors who exceeded their authority.
