In case of new early elections, Petru Luchinschi recommends holding a referendum to elect the head of state directly. “The current administration could organize a referendum early in November so that the people elect a president by the end of February or the start of March next year. The most important thing is that the AEI should be consistent. “The people are not foolish and see what the Communists do. If they lost, they should admit defeat and act in the people’s interests,” Petru Lucinschi said.
