Moldovan striker Petru Leuca signed for Khaitan, which ranks last in the second league of the championship of Kuwait.

“I had been on trial at Khaitan for three days and they offered me to stay in Kuwait. It is a step forward for me,” the 27-year-old player has told IPN.

Petru Leuca played for Academia, Iskra-Stal, Milami, Dacia, Ungheni, Jonava, and Petrocub. In the 2014-2015 season, he scored 11 goals in 17 matches for Dacia, becoming vice champion of Moldova.
