Petrocub became the National Division leader after beating Sfîntul Gheorghe 1-0. The only goal was scored in the 52nd minute by Mihai Platica, who is now the top scorer with seven goals, IPN reports.

“It was an interesting match. It’s a pity that not many goals were scored,” said the coach of Petrocub Lilian Popescu.

“We didn’t deserve to lose today. A mistake cost us three points” said the coach of Sfîntul Gheorghe Sergei Cebotari.

The other three matches of the 11th stage are played today, September 22, starting at 7pm. Milsami meets Zimbru, FC Bălți - Dinamo-Auto, while Sheriff - FC Florești.
