Petrocub Hîncești for the first time qualified for the final of Moldova’s Football Cup. After the 1-0 victory at home against Sheriff, the team trained by Lilian Popescu lost the return match in Tiraspol 1-2 and qualified owing to the goal scored away, IPN reports.
In the final that will be played at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau on June 30, Petrocub will meet Sfântul Gheorghe. The team trained by Sergey Cebotari drew the return match with Speranța Nisporeni 2-2 after winning the first leg by 5-2, qualifying with the general score of 7-4.
Dinamo-Auto is the last National Division team that obtained the right to represent Moldova at the European cups. The team trained by Igor Dobrovolski will play in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa League.
