Sisters Zalina Petrivskaya and Marina Nikishenko didn’t manage to qualify for the hammer throw final of the 2017 IAAF World Championships of London, IPN reports.

Zalina failed in two attempts and her only good result was of 67.05 meters. Marina, who competed in group B, achieved the result of 64.63 meters.

Poland’s Malwina Kopron obtained the best result in the qualification competition – 74.97meters.

At the World Seniors Athletics Championships of London, Sergey Marghiev will compete in hammer throw, Andrian Mardare in javelin throw, while Dimitriana Surdu in discus throw.
