Persons with visual impartments will not pay for auxiliary postal services

The persons with visual impartments will no longer have to pay for the auxiliary services of writing the address on the letter or parcel, filling out forms and other services provided by Moldova’s Post Office. The company took such a decision on the recommendation of the Council for Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination and Ensuring of Equality, IPN reports.

The auxiliary services became free only for persons with visual impairments, but the Council also recommended extending the list of beneficiaries so that this includes the persons with physical and intellectual disabilities and the illiterate persons as well.

According to the Council for Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination and Ensuring of Equality, all the persons with disabilities should benefit free from such services as they use these services for objective reasons.
