The persons who will make the juveniles watch pornographic scenes showing sexual intercourse of any nature are liable to a fine of 6,000 to 10,000 lei or up to three years in prison. A bill to this effect was passed by Parliament in the final reading, Info-Prim Neo reports. The persons who will offer the minors to meet through ICT technologies for acts of a sexual character will be punished with a fine of 6,000 to 10,000 lei, 150 to 200 hours of community service or up to five years’ imprisonment. Under the given law, any person involved in sexual intercourse, anal or vaginal sex with juveniles, except rape, will be liable to five to eight years in jail, while the persons who had sex with a minor, knowing that he/she is younger than 16, will be imprisoned for up to five years. The bill was submitted by the Ministry of the Interior.
