The Moldovans who will want to regain the Romanian nationality will have to attach a detailed criminal record certificate to the other required documents, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau.

The decision was taken by the Citizenship Commission of the National Authority for Citizenship. It took effect on March 4.

If a convicting court decision/sentence exists, there will be submitted a copy of the original.
