The persons whose identification papers were lost or stolen will be able to vote on June 5 using a temporary identity document that is valid for two months, deputy director general of the Information Resources Center “Registru” Vasile Chiornyi stated for Info-Prim Neo. He said that the persons who have no documents can go to the Center and apply for a temporary identity document. In this case, the document issuing procedure is much more difficult than when the applicants have at least one document on them. “This system is a positive one, but such cases should be an exception rather than a rule as the identification and document issuing process takes time,” said Vasile Chiornyi. He also said that all the 50 document issuing sections will work on June 5, from 7.00 until 21.00. Two hotlines are available - 257 070 for receiving information and 269 474 for reporting objections. The documents are issued free of charge.
