The police arrested two men who are suspected of committing a murder in Botanica district of Chisinau on January 3. A man aged 53 was found then dead on Minsk St. The suspects aged 37 and, respectively, 51 were earlier tried for serious and very serious offenses committed in Moldova and outside it, IPN reports.

According to the police, the same day the suspects committed a theft. As a result of searches at suspects’ homes, a part of the stolen things were found.

The men were placed under arrest for 72 hours. They face up to 20 years in jail for intentional murder. The police said the murder was planned. The victim was stabbed with a knife for multiple times. The culprits stole the victim’s bag with money and his expensive coat.
