Persons looking after sick people will receive higher allowances from September
The persons that look after sick people that form part of socially vulnerable groups will receive higher allowances as from September 1.
Valentina Busiuoc, deputy division head at the National Social Insurance House (CNAS), has told Info-Prim Neo that the given persons in September will also receive the recalculated sums for six days of July and for August because the amendments to the legislation entered into force after published in the Official Gazette on July 25.
Given the large number of people that come to the House to inquire, the official specified that the given persons should not come personally or bring additional certificates. “The documents for paying higher allowances will be legalized automatically, using the database of the CNAS”, Busuioc said.
Under the introduced amendments, the allowances for looking after persons confined to bed that receive pensions in accordance with the law on the social protection of the persons affected by the Chernobyl accident was raised from 100 to 300 lei.
The allowances for the persons that look at home after an invalid child of the first disability disagree, for invalids of the first disability degree that receive social benefits and for all the blind invalids were increased from 250 to 300 lei.
The benefit offered to invalids from childhood of the third disability degree was equalized to the benefit paid to invalids from childhood of the second disability degree, which is 215.27 lei.
