One of the persons who were injured in a road accident in the Romanian county Hunedoara in the morning of October 1 remains hospitalized. This is the driver of the minibus that was transporting passengers from Moldova to Belgium. Another nine persons continued their way to Belgium after they were examined by doctors.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ press service Ana Taban has told IPN that according to the information provided by the Romanian authorities, the life of the driver who remains hospitalized is now out of danger.
The accident occurred on the DN 7 highway. The passenger minibus from Moldova collided with a utility vehicle. The 20-year-old driver of the utility vehicle, who was of Hungarian origin, died on the spot, while ten passengers of the minibus suffered different traumas.
