Felix Grincu was arrested by the police on charges of swindle at the head office of the PPPN in Chisinau in the evening of November 17. On November 18, the Rascani Court decided that this will be placed under house arrest.
Chisinau adviser of the PPPN Ilan Casu said the case against Grincu was started by political order as the law earlier pronounced on Grincu’s innocence.
A group of supporters of the PPPN protested today at the Appeals Court, demanding that Felix Grincu should be set free.
Also today, a group of almost 200 persons protested at the Rascani Court, which was to decide on the legality of starting a criminal case against Renato Usatyi over attempt to murder banker German Gorbuntsov. The hearing was postponed for December 2.
