The Cabinet approved a decision to exclude the period of 180 days during which the vehicles with foreign license numbers can stay in Moldova. Thus, these vehicles will be able to remain in Moldova for a period of 12 months, IPN reports. 

The decision is aimed at adjusting the national legislation to the European one. Furthermore, the cars with foreign license numbers also pay a road tax while in Moldova, while the private individuals pay the insurance certificate Green Card.
