The period for making up the classes missed during the extra autumn break of November 1-5 was prolonged until the end of the 2021-2022 school year, by an order signed by Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală, IPN reports.

The managers of education institutions are responsible for organizing the making-up process. They will design a schedule to catch up on the lessons and will coordinate it with the local education divisions.

The Ministry of Education and Research decided to extend the autumn break until November 7 for public and private primary and secondary schools and lyceums in communities that are under red alert because of COVID-19, based on a decision by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission of October 26.
