A concert in memory of poet Grigore Vieru will be given in Bucharest on March 27, when it is 91 years of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania of 1918, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a Romanian periodical publication, Iuliana Gorea-Costin, consultant at the Office for Managing Relations with Moldova, announced that the performance in memory of Grigore Vieru titled “Secret that Protects Us” will take place at the Bucharest Palace Hall starting at 19.00. The performance of poetry and music under the verses of the bard will involve famous singers from Moldova and Romania, namely: Angela Similea, Anastasia Lazariuc, Dida Dragan, Gabriel Dorobantu, Irina Loghin, Ionut Dolanescu, Fuego, Tudor Gheorghe, Gheorghe Zamfir, Petru Neamtu and the Folklore orchestra, Mihai Munteanu, Mihai Ciobanu, Ion Suruceanu, Iurie Sadovnic, Cristi Aldea Teodorovici, Stefan Petrache and others. There will be presented the last books of the poet “Secret that Protects Me” and “Most Beautiful Poems”. The concert is a charity and all the money raised will go to erect a monument to poet Grigore Vieru.
