Head of Parliament Igor Corman and the EU ambassadors in Chisinau plan to organize meetings with the people in order to discuss the European integration process. The announcement was made by the Speaker during a working visit to Sangerei district, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from Parliament, Igor Corman urged the local authorities to joint efforts with the central authorities and to explain the advantages of the European integration to the people.

“The access to the European funds for supporting agriculture and rural development will enable our manufacturers to have access to the European market with products of a high quality,” said the Speaker.

Among other subjects raised during the discussions were the projects to develop the region and local problems. Igor Corman called on the representatives of the local authorities to make effort to identify solutions to the problems faced by the district’s residents amid understanding and political stability.
