The General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipal Council and the Youth-Friendly Health Center “Neovita” are carrying out the campaign “Be the change” within the National Volunteer Week. The organizers call on the people to donate food products for orphans in the post-institutional period who attend the Day and Temporary Placement Center “Vatra”.

The information was communicated to IPN by the Division’s senior specialist-methodologist Mariana Garleanu. Donations can be made at the Youth-Friendly Health Center “Neovita” situated at 19 Socoleni St in Chisinau.

The group of volunteers will transmit the collected products to the Center “Vatra”, where there will be also staged informative activities centering on healthy eating , including debates, distribution of brochures and screening of short films.

The National Volunteer Week is held all over Moldova during October 19-26.
