The Moldovans can report an environmental problem on the recently launched platform www.ecoalert.md, IPN reports.

A number of filters on the main page of the platform coincide with the reported problem, such as tree felling, pollution of water resources, poaching, air pollution, etc. There are also a map of the signaled problems, the list of the most recently reported problems and other useful information for users.

After signing in, the users describe the problem in short and indicate the place where the problem was identified. They can also add audio, photo or video evidence. The users can remain unanimous if they want.

Ina Coșeru, director of the public association National Environmental Center, said the goal of the platform is to motivate any citizen to report problems as the environmental situation is grave.
