A new formula will be used from January 1 next year to reexamine the old-age pension, for the contributory period recorded after this pension is set. Under the regulations that were modified by the Cabinet, the calculated pension will be added to the value of the pension for the given contributory period. As a result, the pension will definitely rise following reexamination, IPN reports.
Also, as from January 1, 2023, the National House of Social Insurance will reassess the old-age and disability pensions that were set or reexamined during January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2021 and were calculated by adding the period during which the person looked after a child with a severe disability younger than 18 or a persons with a severe disability to the contributory period. For the given period, the average monthly official salary, not the minimum monthly official salary will be taken as calculation basis for the pension.
