The drivers who park or stop in stations intended for public units of transport in Chisinau risk being fined. A relevant request was made to the Chisinau Police Division by acting mayor Ruslan Codreanu, who said that both the parking and stopping hamper the public transport’s access to stations, IPN reports.

In the May 7 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, Ruslan Codreanu noted he received a number of complaints from trolleybus and bus drivers, who said the minibus drivers block access to stations, with the situation on Ismail St, near the UNIC shopping center, being the worst.

The acting mayor underlined he wants to know why the minibuses running on route No. 103 were allowed to travel on the main artery of Chisinau, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd, and requested the responsible subdivisions to provide pertinent information.
