Two men aged 33 and 46 from Chisinau died in a road accident on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau’s Botanica district in the evening of April 8. The victims were hit violently by a motorcycle when they were crossing the street.

Contacted by IPN, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said that according to the preliminary information, the pedestrians were jaywalking. One of them died on the spot, while the other one in the hospital. The police do not rule out the possibility that the motorcyclist was speeding.

The motorcyclist, 33, is from Sarata Veche village of Falesti district. As a result of the accident, he was admitted to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital.
