A man aged 39 was hit mortally by a car at the intersection of Dacia Blvd. and Teilor St in Botanica district of Chisinau on December 15. The first investigations showed the man was jaywalking.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Sabina Cojusnean said the driver left the place of the accident, but the police established that the owner of the car is from Ialoveni district.

In several hours, the car involved in the accident was found in the yard of an apartment building satiated on Traian St in the same district. The driver hasn’t been yet identified.
