The new Pro-Moldova course of the Democratic Party is an almost open message about the future coalition with the Party of Socialists, after the parliamentary elections. Furthermore, this way the PDM confirmed that during nine years while in power it hasn’t safeguarded Moldovan citizens’ interests. The issue was developed in the talk show “Expertise hour” on Jurnal TV channel, IPN reports.
“I think it’s not a secret for many. We have facts showing that since 2016, in the most strategic issues, Dodon has permanently given support to Plahotniuc, starting with “Moldova Gaz”, appointment of ambassadors and judges, introduction of the mixed voting system, prosecutors, abandonment of attempts to annul the billions law and to dismiss Eduard Harunjen. Among the next were the nationality law, the sports arena to which Dodon gave the go-ahead with serious damage being caused to the country, expulsion of Turkish citizens and, the cherry on the cake, the capital amnesty law. Even if the Socialist parliamentary group didn’t vote for this law, Dodon had his last word and last signature for legalizing the stolen billions. It was half-hidden cooperation,” stated Alexandru Slusari, vice president of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth”.
According to him, the PDM transmits a signal to society and the foreign partners, showing it intends to form an alliance with the Socialists.
Secretary general of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Igor Grosu, a Pro-Moldova bloc could be created for the upcoming parliamentary elections, by which the Democratic Party would run away from its own name that is not popular with the voters. “An alliance between the PDM and PSRM is clearly prefigured. Even paid commentators from Bucharest suggest that when they talk too much about a possible alliance between the PDM and PSRM, this could be really formed,” stated Igor Grosu.
