The Democratic Party (PDM) is working on the government program for 2019-2023 and intends to make it public soon, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the company. The issue was discussed in the meeting of the party’s administration held at the PDM’s head office on April 2.
The Democratic leader Vlad Plahotniuc said that during these days the PDM is updating its working agenda based on the proposals that came directly from people and on an opinion poll concerning citizens’ expectations regarding Moldova’s development over the next few years.
Referring to the preliminary analysis of people’s expectations, Vlad Plahotniuc noted the list of priorities is topped by the continuation of the policies to gradually raise the salaries and pensions, continuation and acceleration of the program “Good Roads for Moldova”, augmentation of the child benefit, creation of jobs and development of the economy.
In the meeting, the leaders of the PDM also discussed the implementation of the pension indexation measure, provision of Easter assistance to pensioners with low incomes and initiation of the program “Good Roads 2”.
