Representatives of the Democratic Party (PDM) will go to the President’s Residence in Condrita to present the party’s candidate for Prime Minister at 1pm. The information was confirmed for IPN by Adrian Bulgari, who is adviser to the chairman of the PDM Marian Lupu. This morning, the party convened its Standing Bureau, which chose the candidate.
The Democrats didn’t make statements for the press after the meeting that was held at the PDM’s head office. The journalists were only informed that the taken decisions will be made public later, after the name of the candidate for premiership is made public.
The Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group also had a meeting this morning. The MPs were to decide whether they will vote for the new Cabinet or not. Contracted by IPN, Lib-Dem Valeriu Giletski said the group will take a final decision only after they find out who is the Democrats’ candidate for Prime Minister.
