The Democratic Party says it is open to all Moldova’s foreign partners, including Russia, as long as such partnerships are based on reciprocal respect and pragmatism. This was stated by the party’s parliamentary group leader Pavel Filip at a meeting with Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov.
On Moldova’s current affairs, Filip said the PDM supports an expeditious formation of a governing coalition to make it possible to continue projects started in the previous term.
Ambassador Vasnetsov, according to a PDM press release, emphasized Russia’s willingness to develop the relationship with Moldova on the parliamentary dimension through the resumption as soon as feasible of the Moldova-Russia parliamentary cooperation group.
