PDM ready to negotiate method for overcoming political crisis

The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) said it will continue to take steps to ensure a parliamentary majority and an efficient government in Moldova. The party confirms its readiness to negotiate a correct and swift method for overcoming the political crisis created by renouncing the agreement on the formation of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI), Info-Prim Neo reports. In a press release, the PDM says that for any responsible party, the European integration, the democratic values, the continuation of reforms and the people’s welfare must be above party interests, vainglory and positions. The PDM answers President Nicolae Timofti’s call to come together and identify the solution to the situation created after Prime Minister Vlad Filat renounced the AEI agreement. The party’s administration considers it necessary to explain the internal political situation to Moldova’s foreign partners in an honest, but confident way. The PDM informs that it had a series of conversations with European ambassadors and will continue this communication. At the same time, until a sustainable solution is found, the Democrats pledge to support the normal functioning of the governmental institutions and to keep them far from the political disputes that became inevitable with the renunciation of the AEI agreement.
