The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), on the initiative of its local teams, launches the social campaign “Easter for everyone”. Starting with April 19, the over 900 local teams of the PDM from all over the country will mobilize to support the persons and families in difficulty and the local communities. “We want to help those who are in need. By solidarity and involvement, we will make effort for Easter to be happy for everyone,” it is said in a press release of the PDM, quoted by IPN.

During the first days of the campaign, there will be carried out a number of social involvement activities such as donations of traditional products for families in need, assistance through the household for elderly persons, cleanup activities, including in cemeteries and parks, setting up of garbage bins, planting of lawns and of saplings near parking lots, laying out of wells, springs and playgrounds, and visits to old people’s homes.

Fairs of Easter cakes and decorated eggs will be staged simultaneously in villages and towns of the districts of Orhei, Soldanesti, Rezina, Floresti, Falesti, Stefan Voda, Drochia, Ocnita, Cahul, Edinet, Hancesti, Anenii Noi, Ialoveni, Telenesti, Leova, Rascani and of the municipalities of Comrat and Chisinau. A number of events at national level and in the other districts will be organized during the campaign, including with the involvement of women’s and youth organizations of the party.

The sympathizers of the PDM and all those who support the cause of the campaign and want to lend a hand during the Easter holidays are invited to join in the charity campaign “Easter for everyone”.
