The Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) expresses solidarity with France in these very hard moments following the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. “We offer our condolences to the French people in connection with the deadly attacks and hope that those injured will overcome the difficulties through which they go,” the PDM says in a communique, quoted by IPN.
“The whole world must be united against terror, while those who were behind these acts must be swiftly caught and punished. Terrorism can never have a justification, while the countries of our continent should make great effort to fight this phenomenon so as to prevent a repeat of such bloody events. Despite these barbarous acts, the common European values remain untouched,” says the message.
A series of violent shootings and explosions took place in Paris on the evening of November 13 and in the early hours of November 14. At least three separate explosions and six shootings were reported around the city, along with a siege and mass shooting at the Bataclan theatre. Over 140 people are reported to have died, including at least 110 at the theatre. The attacks were claimed by the Islamic State.
