PCRM won elections according to preliminary official results, UPDATE
The Communist Party of Moldova (PCRM) gained 49.94% of the poll, the Liberal Party (PL) – 12.82%, the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) – 12.27%, the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) – 9.83%. These are the results of the April 5 parliamentary elections with 96.51% of the proceedings filed by the national electoral offices processed, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Thus, the PCRM will hold 60 seats, the PL - 16, the PLDM – 14, while the AMN -11.
The other election runners polled as follows: the Social Democratic Party with 3.67% of the vote, the Christian Democratic People’s Party – 3.01%, the Democratic Party – 2.95%, the Centrist Union of Moldova – 2.77%, the Social-Political Movement “European Action” - 1% of the vote. The rest of the candidates won less than 1% of the vote.
59.52% of the over 2.5 million Moldovans with the right to vote took part in Sunday’s elections.
