The Party of Communists has certain conditions for voting for the candidate proposed for the post of Prime Minister, the head of the Communist parliamentary group Violeta Ivanov said, refusing to specify these conditions yet, IPN reports.
“In the consultations, the Communist faction clearly expressed its position and imposed a number of conditions. We made public the names of those for whom we would vote. I think those from the PLDM and PDM know the conditions very well,” stated Violeta Ivanov.
Communist MP Oleg Reidman added that the negotiations and consultations with the parties that assumed governance aren’t yet over.
On January 27, Nicolae Timofti holds consultations with four parliamentary groups with a view to designating a candidate for the post of Prime Minister. The PLDM proposed Iurie Leanca for premiership and the PDM announced that they will support this candidate.
