The Democratic Party (PDM), by the campaign launched recently, within which the people will suggest candidates for the future election list of the party, commenced the process of rigging the November 30 parliamentary elections, said the parliamentary opposition, quoted by IPN.

In a press statement, the Communist Party (PCRM) accuses the PDM of staying with their back at the people and of pursuing a closed-type policy during the last five years. Now they decided to create the illusion of transparency and democratization, trying to hide the real goal of this electoral technique from society.

“The Democrats’ intention is simple: to compile the lists of potential voters of the PDM, to pay by 200-300 lei for a signature and to promise to pay twice more if they vote the Democrats in the November 30 legislative elections,” said the Communists. According to them, the PDM never hid its main electoral instruments – purchase of votes, use of administrative resources and fixing of the election outcome.

“The buying of MPs, local councilors and voters is the main instrument used by this party,” says the PCRM. It also said that the Democrats bring together the people not in order to familiarize them with a country development program, but to corrupt them nominally and to rig the elections.
