PCRM tops rankings of political parties with chances to enter Parliament
If early parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, 30.3% of the voters in Moldova would choose the PCRM, 14.0% – the PLDM, 10.8% – the PDM, while 7.4% – the PL.
These are the parties that would enter the Parliament, according to a survey carried out by IDIS “Viitorul” and CBS AXA in March this year. The survey was incorporated in the “Economic Monitor” that was presented on April 14, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The survey shows the AMN, which forms part of the Alliance for European Integration, would not pass the election threshold as it would poll only 1.2% of the votes. The other parties will garner less than 1%.
19.4% of the respondents do not know whom they would vote for, 7.9% said they would not vote, while 6.7% did not want to answer the question.
The former president of Moldova Vladimir Voronin, the leader of the PCRM, is considered the most famous person by 90.4% of those questioned. He is followed by the leader of the PDM Marian Lupu with 87.3%, the leader of the PL Mihai Ghimpu with 84.5%, the president of the PLDM Vlad Filat with 84.4%, and the vice president of the PL Dorin Chirtoaca with 81.1%.
Among politicians, 56.9% of the respondents trust Marian Lupu the most, 40.6% trust Vladimir Voronin, 44.5% - Vlad Filat, 37.3% - Dorin Chirtoaca, while 25% - Mihai Ghimpu.
The survey covered a sample of 1,185 persons and has a margin of sampling error of 3%.
