PCRM to stage new protests in Chisinau and three more towns
The protests launched by the Communist Party (PCRM) will continue on November 19 in Chisinau, in front of the Government Building, and in another three towns. Next week, protests will be staged in eight district centers. They will involve about 5,000 persons, the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin has said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“The situation in Moldova is catastrophic. This alliance proved that it lacks abilities. We all have shortcomings, but something must be decided in our activity,” said Vladimir Voronin.
Activists of the PCRM on November 19 mounted a protest in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the legislative body’s sittings take place, demanding that the ruling alliance resign.
In a news conference earlier, Vladimir Voronin said the PCRM will organize mass protests against the government.
