PCRM suggests including dismissal of Zubko and Plahotniuc in Parliament agenda

The Communist parliamentary group submitted an application signed by 34 lawmakers to Parliament, asking calling an extraordinary session of the legislative body, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Communist Party, the draft agenda of the given plenary sitting includes two items: the dismissal of Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko and the dismissal of First Deputy Head of Parliament Vlad Plahotniuc. “Taking into account the events of the last few weeks, the parliamentary group of the Communist Party of Moldova does not doubt that only the dismissal of the prosecutor general and of his ‘master’ Vlad Plahotniuc can create the conditions needed to investigate the Falesti tragedy and to start restoring the verticality of the democratic government in Moldova,” it is said in the communiqué. Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko was among the participants in the December 23 hunting in the Domneasca Forest, which resulted in the death of a man.
