PCRM spent more than PSD in ranking of race expenses
The Communists Party (PCRM) has spent more money than the Social-Democratic Party (PSD) in a ranking of the parties with the biggest expenses for the electoral campaign, according to the second financial report. The electoral competitors presented the Central Election Commission (CEC), on March 17, their reports certifying expenses of over 17.4 million all in all, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The PCRM reported expenses of over 4 million lei, and the PSD – about 3.15 million lei. The next is the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) with 3.73 million lei. The Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) has invested in its promotion less than 2 million lei, and the Democratic Party (PDM) – about 1.5 million.
The European Action Movement (MAE) has spent 1 million lei till now and the Liberal Party (PL) – about 927 thousand lei. The next is the People’s Christian Democratic Party (PPCD) with 629 thousand lei and the Centrist Union of Moldova (UCM) with about 407 thousand lei. The Spiritual Development Party “Moldova Unita” has spent 143 thousand lei. The independent candidates and the Ecologist Party have reported expenses of less than 100 thousand lei.
8 electoral competitors have not presented financial reports to the CEC, that is why they were warned.
The political parties have the right to spend at most 12 million lei each in this electoral campaign. The independent candidates must not exceed 500 thousand lei.
The electoral competitors are obliged to present financial reports about their incomes and expenses during the electoral race once in a fortnight.
