Communist MPs registered in Parliament a legislative initiative providing for the rise in the first qualification category salaries of doctors involved in the mandatory health insurance system, from January 1, 2014. According to estimates, the pays will increase by 15% on average, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Communist Party (PCRM).

Co-author of the bill, MP Oxana Domenti explained that the 2014 Mandatory Health Insurance Funds Law stipulates that the budget incomes will rise by about 15% on the previous year. The rise is mainly based on the 1% increase in the compulsory health insurance premiums and the increase of the price of the health policy by 738 lei.
