PCRM lied in election campaign, Marian Lupu

The Communists Party (PCRM) lied in the election campaign, especially in the film that said the Nemteni levee was exploded by the Moldovan authorities in order to save the Romanian town Galati, the Head of Parliament and president of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu said in a program on Publika TV channel on January 3, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Marian Lupu said that during the election campaign he had to explain for numerous times to the voters that those were pure speculations and that if somebody could prove the opposite he was ready to renounce his title of Doctor of Economy. Speaking about the post-electoral talks with the PCRM, the Democrat leader said there were issues on which they cold not agree, like the Russia-Belarus- Kazakhstan customs union and matters concerning Moldova’s European integration. He stressed that the issue of European integration was discussed, but not set out in documents. As to the agreement to reanimate the Alliance for European Integration, Marian Lupu said that it lays down working principles and is better than the one signed after the July 29, 2009 elections. In another development, the president of the PDM said that the Marian Lupu elected as Speaker by a center-left coalition would have been the same as the Marian Lupu elected as Head of Parliament by the center-right coalition.
