PCRM informs embassies about use of public money for political purposes
The Communists Party (PCRM) accuses the Government of using public money for political purposes. It notified the embassies and international organizations working in Chisinau that the meeting to commemorate the deportees, which was held in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau on June 13, was a political action, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the party.
“The objectives announced by the organizers were not achieved as the meeting turned into a political event,” the PCRM says in the communique. The Opposition expresses its dissatisfaction with the fact that all the logistic expenses were covered with money from the state budget, like the setting up of the stage and audio infrastructure, while the costs of transporting persons from districts to the capital city – from the budgets of the local public authorities.
The PCRM says flags of a neighboring country were distribute among the participants in the event that was organized by the Government.
“In the speeches delivered at the event, the politicians – representatives of the Alliance for European Integration – called on the people to outlaw the PCRM and ban its symbols and name. The Communists Party condemns the Government's actions and attempts to remove the PCRM from the future electoral race at any price,” the communique reads.
