PCRM demands dismissing three PL councilors for hunting in Domneasca Forest
Requests for dismissals were made in the March 1 meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council. Communist councilman Victor Gurau demanded discharging three Liberal councilors – Oleg Cernei, Iurie Nastase, and Vasile Petrea – because they hunted in the Domneasca Forest on December 23-31, 2012.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Oleg Cernei confirmed that he went hunting on December 28, at the invitation of his colleague Vasile Petrea. “I do not have a permit and do not bear arms, while Gurau’s aberrant statements do not deserve being commented. There is a Romanian saying: Horses do not die when dogs want,” he stated.
Vasile Petrea said nobody proved that the hunting was illegal. He informed he has a hunter’s permit. Iurie Nastas didn’t comment on Gurau’s demand.
A young man was wounded mortally during hunting in the Domneasca Forest on December 23. The hunting involved state functionaries.
