The election campaign of the Communist Party (PCRM), prior to the November 30 parliamentary elections, will focus on direct communication with the voters. In a news conference, a number of Communist MPs said going from door to door and discussing with the people is the best method of campaigning, IPN reports.
Violeta Ivanov enumerated the most serious problems, including school abandonment, reduction in the number of teachers, augmentation of the country’s foreign debt, the situation of Banca de Economii and of the Chisinau International Airport. According to her, the people are disorientated and want a change in the political class.
Sergiu Stati said the TV channels in Moldova were monopolized and their owners made everything possible for the Communist Party not to appear on screens. “That’s why we decided to use the direct dialogue method,” stated the MP.
Eduard Musuc noted that the active dialogue with the voters will be the pillar of the PCRM’s election campaign in Chisinau. “It is the best strategy. We will urge the voters to take part in elections and not to be afraid that the voting will be rigged as we will monitor the process,” he said.
The PCRM will have representatives to supervise the elections in all the polling places and will organize a parallel vote count.
