PCRM and PDM did not sign anything, Vladimir Voronin
The Communists Party (PCRM) and the Democratic Party (PDM) did not sign anything, the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin said after the consultations held by the PCRM and PDM. After the meeting, the president of the PDM Marian Lupu said that the discussions with the PCRM have been more constructive than with other parties, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vladimir Voronin told the reporters that they discussed methods of overcoming the political crisis and the opening of the parliamentary sittings, including the format of the first sitting.
For his part, Marian Lupu said the PDM and PCRM managed to reach a consensus on a number of issues, especially as regards the foreign policy, which, according to Lupu, should be aimed at Moldova's integration into the EU. He also said that the relations with the Eastern partners must be maintained and developed.
Marian Lupu stressed that the first round of consultations with the PCRM was constructive. He said the PDM will accept the PLDM's invitation to talks if it is made.
The Democrat leader also said that he was not interested in posts and there is a risk that those who speak about values and principles will only speak about them at a time when others will implement them.
