PCRM accuses Moldovan students in Romania of double voting
PCRM claims that buses carrying students were observed at the Leuseni customs, crossing the border so that the students can vote in Romania using their passports after voting in Moldova using their identity documents or vice versa, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Speaking at a press briefing, PCRM spokesperson Sergei Sirbu reported other irregularities as well, including the failure to affix the stamp “elections 2010” in the identity documents; short messages soliciting votes for a particular competitor; and the refusal of some election officers to go out and take the mobile ballot box to elderly or disabled voters.
The Communists announced they would carry our a parallel vote tabulation and would inform the press of any irregularities reported by their in-field observers.
