PCRM about PLDM’s decision: They are trying to wash their hands

Communist MP Artur Reshetnicov said the Liberal Democratic Party, which formed part of the government since 2009 and whose representatives led the Cabinets in the period, is trying to avoid responsibility and to drop out after bringing poverty and corruption to the country, IPN reports.

During a break in the Parliament sitting, Reshetnicov told the press that the essence of the current actions of the PLDM cannot be found in the slogans that it promoted. That’s why the conclusion is that causing poverty and developing corruption was the real goal of the PLDM.

The lawmaker said that the PCRM has so far discussed only with the PDM, but is waiting for an answer to the invitation to have a dialogue made earlier to all the parliamentary groups and unaffiliated MPs.

In the evening of November 4, representatives of the PLDM announced that they will not take part in the negotiations on the formation of a parliamentary coalition, initiated by the PDM. The Liberals’ leader excluded an alliance with the PCRM and PSRM, even if the PDM could have reached an agreement with the two parties already. Unaffiliated MP Iurie Leanca also rejected the possibility of forming an alliance with the Communists.
