PCRM about early elections – some in favor, others against
The Communist MPs have different opinions about the early elections. Vadim Misin considers the early elections are inevitable, while Vladimir Turcan says they are dangerous for the state and will insist that they be avoided, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“It is Mister Misin's opinion. I think that the early elections are dangerous for the state. We must weigh the national interests first and then the party interests,” Turcan said, adding that he will insist on this idea at the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the PCRM set to take place later this week.
Asked about the possibility of adopting a new Constitution, Vladimir Turcan said he is in favor of modifying the constitutional provisions concerning the election of the head of state, not for a new supreme law. “A new Constitution will be adopted only in political interests,” he said.
