Pavel Verejan, leader of "For Orhei" group within Orhei Municipal Council, is the candidate of Șor Political Party at the local elections in Orhei. The announcement was made during a video session by Ilan Sor, leader of Șor Political Party, within the framework of the candidate presentation event, IPN reports.

Pavel Verejan says this nomination is an honour for him and at the same time a responsibility. "We have no right to slow down the development of Orhei municipality, we can only speed up. I will do my best together with our team not to let down Orhei inhabitants,” said the candidate.

According to him, if elected mayor, his main task will be to further promote and develop Orhei municipality, and not to discontinue all the ongoing projects.

The chair of Șor Political Party, Ilan Șor, mentioned that Pavel Verejan was a responsible person with whom he had been working side by side for four years. "Together with him we will be able to build the city of our dreams. We will know how to build roads, restore kindergartens, continue to develop our beloved Orhei”, declared Ilan Șor.

MP Marina Tauber, the deputy chair of Șor Political Party, announced that she was appointed as chief of Pavel Verejan' s electoral staff for Orhei town.

Pavel Verejan was Șor Political Party’s candidate at the early elections of Balti municipality mayor in 2018 as well. Then, Nicolai Grigorişin, Our Party candidate, became mayor of Balti.
